The New British light-heavyweight champion Nathan Cleverly beat Danny McIntosh in seven rounds at London‘s York Hall last to maintain his unbeaten record and add the lonsdale belt to his Commonwealth crown by stopping McIntosh. Cleverly, dropped McIntosh four times during a classy display from the Welshman.

McIntosh fell twice in the second round, and again in the third and again in the seventh — all courtesy of Clevely’s right hand.

The Norwich fighter showed true guts and determination to last as long as he did before ref Howard Foster ended the fight midway through the seventh.

Cleverly has now won all 17 of his professional fights, with seven by knockout.Cleverly is defentley a fighter going places and could be the British star of 2009.
