Jamie Moore vs Michael Jones 3 – The classic rubber match

 

Classic British Boxing fight between Jamie Moore and Michael Jones, on the 8th July 2005. The two rival boxing warriors, Moore from Salford, Manchester and Jones from Liverpool had met twice previous and honours were even with one win a piece. In their first fight in 2003 Moore won on points and in their last fight in 2004, and in the second fight Jones won after Moore was disqualified controversially in the 3rd. This was the the ‘Rubber Match’ A real Lancashire Derby held at the Altrincham, Leisure Centre, Cheshire, United Kingdom and was for the British light middleweight title.
