Liverpool’s Heavyweight Prospect David Price
David Price fights for the 7th time as a professional this Friday night on the undercard of the Tyson Fury v John McDermott British Heavyweight Title clash at the Brentwood Centre in Essex.

Price 26, will no doubt have an eye on the main event, with a future fight against the winner a distinct possibility. Price had beaten Fury in the amateurs in the Manchester fighters back yard.

The Liverpool lad nicknamed “The Big Un” has won all six of his contests since turning Pro in early 2009, after an impressive amateur career in which he picked up an Olympic Silver Medal in Beijing in 2008 and a gold at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.

He fights Czech journeyman Pavol Polakovic on Friday night, who has an unimpressive 8 defeats on his record, only 4 KO’s and has lost to the likes of Scott Belshaw, Herbie Hide and Mark Hobson in his 5 year career.

Price, under the tutelage of wiley promoter Frank Maloney should be looking at a British Title fight in 2011 and Fury or McDermott could way be the man standing in his way.

Also on the Brentwood Bill is “The War Machine” Big Larry Olubamiwo who has 7-1-0 record and takes on Dave Ferguson 12-2-0 and Tom Dallas (10-0-0) is also in action in what should be a great heavyweight night of boxing.
