Tyson Fury’s opponent on the 10th of September at the York Hall has been named as unbeaten Brazilian Marcelo Luiz Nascimento.
Nascimento is nicknamed “The Hammer” and has a superb paper record of eleven victories with nine knockouts, eight of which have occurred in the first two rounds.
With all his fights happening in Brazil against relatively unkown opponents, its impossible to tell just how good the South American is, but on paper at least, it looks as though Fury could have a tricky nights work in store for him against a man with an identical record to himself.
Fury comes into the fight on the back of his demoltion job on John McDermott in their June rematch as he clinched the vacant English Heavyweight Title with a ninth round knockout of the Essex slugger.
The fight is on the undercard of John O’Donnell’s clash with Ameican Terrance Cauthen and will also feature Tyson’s unbeaten cousin Phill Fury who has a perfect 5-0 record and will look to improve that against an as yet un-named opponent.
