Fury outpoints Brown in Quebec
Tyson Fury the current English heavyweight champion, had his latest fight in Quebec Canada tonight when he out-pointed experienced American Zack Page 80-72 to win a unanimous decision on the under-card of the Jean Pascal versus Bernard Hopkins bill in Quebec, Canada today.

Fury the 6ft 9″ heavyweight prospect from Manchester in his 13th professional fight and with new legendary trainer Emanuel Steward in his corner, stalked his slippery opponent using his long reaching jab to keep the much smaller Page at distance and outboxing him for most of the fight, but just couldn’t land clean on Page to ever have him in any trouble.

Fury fights with his hands held low and at times leaves himself open, but Page never looked like taking advantage and was content to last the distance, having only been stopped 3 times in 33 losses prior and Fury never looked like producing the stoppage, but will have benefited from the whole Canadian experience and the time spent with Emanuel Steward ,who trains the current heavyweight champions of the world the Klitschko brothers.
Fury shouted out last week that he will fight anyone in boxing, so as to what his next fight will be we are unsure, but he is currently the number 1 contender for the British title held by Dereck Chisora, who was disappointed to see his world title challenge get cancelled when Wladimir Klitschko pulled out of his scheduled December 11th title defense against the Brit in Germany.

Audley Harrison

So if Chisora wants to hang onto his Lonsdale belt he must in effect face Fury next unless he vacates to chase his world dream and re-arrange the Klitschko fight for next year, which will leave Fury to contest the belt with another top 10 British heavyweight contender, which could possibly be against Martin Rogan, Michael Sprott or Sam Sexton.

Even a fight with Audley Harrison (left), who announced he is going to continue fighting, despite his non show challenge to David Haye last month, is being whispered around has a possible fight for Fury. Watch this space!
