Amir Khan spoke to BritishBoxers friend in the States Elie Seckbach of ESNEWS and answered fans questions about his life, boxing career and future fights, including a rematch with Breidis Prescott and a possible showdown with pound for pound great Floyd Mayweather Jnr.

Prescott 28, remains the only man to beat Khan (25-1, 17KO’s) inflicting a stunning 54-second knockout on the Bolton fighter in 2008 at the MEN Arena. The Colombian had accused Amir Khan of being too “scared” to face him in a rematch.

But Khan re-built his career after that loss, moved up in weight and went on to capture the WBA light-welterweight title and has defended it four times to date.

“Id love to fight him again definitely, that’s a fight for the future and it will be Hugh.” said Khan.

“When people say I’m scared of him and stuff, I mean Ive come on a million times better and really it was the best thing that ever happened to me when he beat me, its made me a better fighter.

“Yes Id love that fight again, I think first of all there are a few names I want to clear up in this division, I know Prescott’s always gonna be there and it will be a big fight so I want to beat everyone else and then fight Prescott at the right time and that will be the icing on the cake.” added the Bolton champion.

Khan 24, who meets New York’s current IBF king Zab Judah on July 23 at the Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, tells ESNEWS that he really wants a rematch with Prescott and would also love to get it on with Mayweather, adding he believes he has the correct tools to defeat the unbeaten five-time world champion.

“I think Ive got a style that will cause him a lot of problems, the speed, the angles, the movement and probably one of the best trainers in the corner who could help me through that.”

“If I didn’t think I could beat him I wouldn’t ask for the fight, I really think Ive got the tools to beat him and maybe in the next 12 months if that fight could happen, I think Id be more mature, more stronger, more wiser and it would be a great time for me to take that fight on.” added Khan.
