Young boxing coach Steve Maylett from Ancoats in Manchester trains two of British boxing’s rising stars in light-welterweight Karl Place and super bantamweight Terry Flanagan at his Gym ‘The Finest’ called after his dads former band.
In an interview with www.britishboxers.co.uk the former amateur fighter Maylett 26, who started training professional fighters at just 22, tells us about his two unbeaten boxers Place and Flanagan and their career’s to date. The new gym, training his fighters and about taking them across the city to Joe Gallagher’s camp, to spar with John Murray and Anthony Crolla. (full interview above video)
