|Things are looking up for the British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla – britishboxers.co.uk|
British lightweight champion Anthony Crolla looks set to fight Mexican boxing legend Erik ‘El Terrible’ Morales on the undercard of Floyd Mayweather v Victor Ortiz, at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas on September 17.
Morales, the boxers, boxer has a record of (51-7, 35 KO) and a resume of names on his fight list, which is an who’s, who in the game. He was the last man to defeat Manny Pacquiao and would be a massive fight for the man they call ‘Million Dollar’ who is trained by Joe Gallagher.
The fight could possibly be for the recently vacated WBC world title and would be a Hugh step up in levels, but a wonderful opportunity for Manchester’s nice guy of boxing, who has a record of 23-fights, 21 wins, 2 losses, with 9 KO’s.
To be continued….
Some of our American friends have been emailing us this morning asking ‘Who is Anthony Crolla,? A full report will be featured on the fight when we have more news, but for now here are some of the recent interviews we have done with Crolla…..
