@britishboxers – BritishBoxers.co.uk caught up with unbeaten WBA International champion Scott Quigg this week to speak to him about his recent change of trainers, leaving Pat Barrett’s Gym – Collyhurst and Moston Lads Club in Manchester to join Joe Gallagher’s camp across the city in Bolton.
Gallagher now trains his fighters at Amir Khan’s gym and we filmed some footage of Scott sparring with British super bantamweight champion Gary Sykes, plus work on the pads with Gallagher.
Quigg from Bury, has a 22 fight winning run since turning professional in April 2007, stopping 15 of them along the way. But the 22-year old faces his toughest fight to date, but his biggest opportunity on Oct 22nd, when he will challenge Jason Booth for the British title.

I just needed a change, it was hard to leave Pat, but ive joined Joe now and so far so good I’m enjoying it.”– Scott Quigg
