Nottingham’s Jason Booth and Sheffield’s Kid Galahad both weighed in ahead of their WBC International Super Bantamweight title fight which will take place at the Magna Centre in Rotherham, on Saturday night. 

New kid on the block Galahad weighed in at 8st 9lbs 10oz, just a 1lb above veteran Booth, who hit the scales at 8st 8lbs 14 oz


The fight is to be broadcast live on Channel 5 from 10am.

Also on the bill is Doncaster’s Jason Ball (11st 9lbs, 2oz), who believes boxing fans will be in for a treat when he takes on the much talked about Middleweight sensation Chris Eubank Jr (11st 8lbs, 4oz) – who is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his dad, the former British boxing legend.

Other fights and weights are:
Light Welterweight Contest, 8 x 3 min rounds: Lenny Daws (10st 1lb, 14 oz) v Chris Truman (10st 1lb 12 oz).

Cruiserweight Contest, 4 x 3 min rounds: Karl Bell, of Rotherham (13st 13lbs 12oz) V Simeon Cover, of Worksop (14st 11lbs 10 oz).

Contest, 4 x 3 min rounds: Jason Cunningham (Doncaster) vs. Delroy Spencer (Wolverhampton).

Super Bantamweight
Contest, 4 x 3 min rounds: Leigh Wood (Nottingham) vs. Pevels Senkovs (Mansfield).

Cruiserweight
Contest; 4 x 3 min rounds: Karl Bell (Rotherham) vs. Simeon Cover (Worksop).

Lightweight Contest, 4 x 2 min rounds: Leo D’Erlanger (Sheffield) vs. Ryan McNicol (Glasgow) Pro Debut.
