Liverpool will stage one of it’s biggest boxing shows for years tonight (May 19th) when local man David Price attempts to become the City’s first ever British heavyweight champion in a interesting tussle Sam Sexton at the Aintree Equestrian Centre.

The undefeated Price goes into the fight with 12 wins, no defeats with 10 wins by KO. But faces his toughest test to date against Norwich’s former Commonwealth champion Sexton in what promises to be a great night of boxing on this Frank Maloney promoted show, which is being shown live on SkySports.
The undercard is also packed with talent and some good interesting fights including Ashley Theophane’s British light-welterweight title defence against Darren Hamilton, plus Paul Edwards v Kevin Satchell for the Commonwealth flyweight belt, Travis Dickinson faces Bob Ajisafe for the English light-heavyweight belt – and contests involving Dillian Whyte, Adil Anwar, Mike Robinson, John Quigley, Sean Dodd and more.Full report on the show will follow..
