The Queensbury Boxing League have confirmed today that they
have signed an exciting distribution agreement with one of Asia’s leading
sports broadcasters the All Sports Network to broadcast their UK based boxing
events into multiple Asian markets.

Launched back in 2010 by former English Welterweight champion
Ross Minter and promotional partner Alan Foley as a new boxing platform for
British based boxers

outside of the amateur and professional ranks to compete
in, the league has firmly established itself over the last eighteen months as
an exciting alternative to the more established organisations.

The deal with ASN who are recognised throughout Asia as one
of the biggest providers of premium sporting events including the pinnacle of
the American Football season the Super Bowl and also the Stanley Cup, will see
all six of the promotions main event shows from their 2012 season broadcast
into millions of homes across some of Asia’s biggest territories including
China, India, Thailand and the Philippines.

“This is a fantastic coup for the league and it’s a massive
step towards establishing the Queensbury’s exciting brand of boxing on a big
international stage which we are very excited about, “ commented Queensbury’s
head of promotions Alan Foley.

“I think the league’s action packed format coupled with the
shorter rounds and highly competitive contests seems to have established a
winning formula here in the UK with both ardent boxing fans and casual
observers, and I’m sure once its exposed to ASN’s viewers they will really
embrace the league’s format”

With the league already in possession of a broadcast deal
with British Eurosport who are currently showing their 2012 season of boxing
the show looks set to cement its position as a new force on both the British
boxing scene and potentially to a much wider audience.
