Terry Flanagan interview – English Super-featherweight champion

We Interview new English super-featherweight champion Terry Flanagan, unbeaten in 14 fights he won the belt on points against Dougie Curran last month. – We talk to the fighter nicknamed ‘Turbo’ about the fight and his hopes for the future in his boxing career.

His first defence of the belt will be against Coventry’s Troy James on the 22nd September and the super fit champion, who is a fanatic trainer is having a short break from the gym, before he gets back into full training for the James fight.

Manchester City fan Flanagan, who still works full time as a scaffolder, says his dream is to win a British title outright.

We also do our quick fire questions with Terry and find out what his favourite things are, as part of our Inside Boxing series.
