Anthony Ogogo Interview on his Olympic medal and Boxing Future

Olympic bronze medal hero Anthony Ogogo will be welcomed home this evening with celebrations planned in Suffolk for the Lowestoft boxer who earned the medal by winning three bouts, including victory over world number one Ievgen Khytrov, before being beaten in the semi-finals.

Anthony who boxed in the games dispite his mother being ill in hospital, wasnt happy at first that he had not attained the Gold medal that he craved, but such is the response and support he has recieved since winning the bronze, he says he realises now he still achieved something very special.

He also speaks about his thoughts on staying amateur for another four years to compete in Rio, or turning professional, but says it’s a big decision and he’s still undecided.
