VIDEO: Interview with Kieran Farrell

By on August 11, 2012

We visited unbeaten Central Area champion Kieran ‘Vicious’ Farrell (13-0) at his home in Heywood for a chat about his career to date and his inclusion in the Prizefighter Lightweight’s II on October 6th at Liverpool’s Olympia.

Over a cup of tea Kieran talks to Chris Maylett for www.britishboxers.co.uk about how he got into boxing aged 7 after getting a pair of bag gloves from Argos. We find out about his amateur career and why he decided to turn professional at just 18, plus what it has taken to get this exciting prospect to 13-0 and on the brink of making it big on the British boxing scene.

Kieran who is to become a dad in December also talks about his switch from long time coach Bobby Rimmer to take up camp with John Breen in Belfast. With this and an awful lot more… it’s over to you Kieran!
