Queensbury Boxing Season Finale Hits Eurosport

On Tuesday night at 10pm on British Eurosport the Queensbury Boxing League hits the nations screens for the final stop on its exciting 2012 season of boxing with its action packed 2 hour season finale promotion Edge Of Greatness.

Billed as the competitions biggest line up of boxing during a packed promotional calendar that has seen seven shows go out on the prominent satellite based sports channel, the show will feature six of the headline contests from the league’s November event including the league’s British Middleweight title showdown between Northampton’s Nathan Leeson and established league champion Gareth Gardner.

The competition has seen its reputation and popularity explode over the last twelve months attracting an army of fans eager to watch the fast paced competitive contests that the show has become renowned for, and with the final offering of the year producing the best of the action from its busy calendar, the promotional duo of Ross Minter and Alan Foley who head up the show believe this event brings the curtain down on the season in real style, and sets things up perfectly for the Queensbury brand to become a major player in both the British and international markets next year.

Those who do switch on to see the action on Tuesday night can look forward to some explosive undercard tussles, featuring undefeated Heavyweight wrecking machine Mike Bourne who puts his eighteen fight win streak on the line against old rival Grant Duller, and in Middleweight action two of the league’s brightest prospects Danny Lineham from Northampton and Andy Thompson from Ramsgate gamble with their perfect records when they face each other in an eliminator for the league’s English strap.

The 2 hour show goes out from 10pm on British Eurosport on Sky Sports channel 410, and is also available to Virgin Media customer on channel 521.
