Gavin Rees is hoping victory over Anthony Crolla tonight at the Bolton Arena will propel him to another world title fight with WBO lightweight champion Ricky Burns.
The Newport lightweight returns to the ring for the first time since his defeat to WBC champion Adrien Broner earlier this year, when he was stopped in five rounds.
Despite the loss Rees’s profile in America has risen and the former light-welterweight world champion believes there is plenty more to come.
