Jack Arnfield (23-2, 6KOs) at the age of 27, is keen to push on strongly with his career. He goes head to head with a good friend and former training partner Brian Rose (29-4 – 1, 8KOs) on Saturday at Manchester Arena.

After an impressive recent performances against John Ryder and Mick Hall, Arnfield looked strong and confident. At the press conference in Manchester today some heated words were exchanged between the two camps as this fight looks set for an intense spectacle.

Trained by former professional fighter Mike Jennings and his brother Dave Jennings in Chorley, Arnfield who formerly trained with Brian under the guidance of Bobby Rimmer, will now meet his friend in the ring in a much anticipated clash.

We caught up with Team Arnfield who were in a confident and strident mood ahead of Saturday’s action. We discussed the technical aspects of the fight and assessed some of the reasons why this fight is now overshadowed by a little bit of needle as tensions run high ahead of this crossroads fight.
