Unbeaten lightweight world champion Terry ‘Turbo’ Flanagan (33-0, 13KOs) tells British Boxers that he will defend his WBO belt against the dangerous unbeaten Puerto Rican Felix Verdejo in September.

Verdejo (23-0, 15KOs) is the mandatory challenger for Turbo’s title and will travel to the UK to face Flanagan, with his hometown Manchester or London the possible venue for the fight.

The fight could either take place on the undercard of Billy Joe Saunders world title defence on September 16th in the Capital or possibly on the undercard of Hughie Fury’s heavyweight world title challenge against Joseph Parker at the Manchester Arena on September 23rd.
