Matchroom Boxing have announced that Terri Harper will take on Cecilia Braekhus on May 20th at Dublin’s 3Arena.

The fight will take place on the undercard of Katie Taylor‘s super-lightweight bout versus Chantelle Cameron.

Harper, who won the WBA super-welterweight title versus Hannah Rankin in September, looks to make the first defence of the belt against the Norwegian.

The Doncaster fighter stepped up three weight division’s to challenge Scotland’s Rankin after previously holding the WBC belt at super-featherweight.

Braekhus meanwhile reigned as undisputed welterweight champion before surrendering her belts to Jessica McCaskill in a majority decision defeat over two years ago.

A rematch was immediately booked but Detroit’s McCaskill widely outpointed Braekhus again in Dallas.

The 41 year old hasn’t fought since but looks to become a two-weight champion against Doncaster’s Harper in May.

The main event on the night sees Ireland’s Taylor step up to super-lightweight to challenge undisputed champion Cameron.

The latter unified all four belts against the aforementioned McCaskill at 140lbs in November.

Taylor, who previously held the WBO title at super-lightweight, looks to become a two-weight undisputed champion in her first pro fight on Irish soil.
