Junior Witter, the former WBC light-Welterweight champion of the world, is hoping that he will get the chance to fight for a world title again against champion and country man Amir Khan on April 16 at the MEN Arena in Manchester.
First though Witter will make his ring return, against Victor Lupo on Saturday, February 19th, at the Hershey Centre, Ontario, Canada. But says he would be ready to step back down to his natural weight where he himself use to hold the WBC version of the 10st title.
Witter from Bradford, says he has accepted an offer to fight Khan and his name is now added to the shortlist of challengers ready to try and lay a claim to ‘King’ Khans WBA light-welterweight strap.

Witter like the rest on the list is waiting for the call that would see him back in the world boxing spot-light after being away from the ring since his defeat to Devon Alexander in August 2009.
