Dickinson Retains |
Dickinson was made to work hard for the win and Dolan put in a brave effort, Dickinson had to work hard for his victory. Dolan had said before the fight that at 33, if he lost would consider his future in the game and may now call it a day, it would be a shame after his persistent performance here. Dickinson had faced Dolan before, less than three years ago over 10 rounds, and as on that occasion it was Dickinson’s accuracy and power that proved the difference.
The champion claimed the vacant Lonsdale belt against Shane McPhilbin in October last year and will now be looking to make two more defences this year as he bids to win the strap outright.
