Darren Barker is in America to support his Matchroom stable mate Lee ‘Lights-Out’Purdy who takes on Devon Alexander for the IBF welterweight title on Saturday night. Barker believes Purdy’s key to victory is to stick to the game plan, pin the champion down and catch him.
“There’s no secret in the game plan.” Barker told Kugan Cassius for iFilmLondon.
“Lee’s been working hard in training, we’ve come up with a brilliant game plan and I think he’ll pull it off, I genuinely do! If Purdy hits Devon Alexander, he’s gonna be in all sorts of trouble, a world of trouble, but we know what were up against.” added Barker.
