Billy Joe Saunders and John Ryder talk to Steve Lillis ahead of their fight at the Copper Box at the Olympic Park on the 21st September.

This anticipated battle of unbeaten London middleweight stars will be the first ever boxing show to be held at the Olympic venue, when the 23-year-old Saunders (17-0, 10 KOs) defends his British title against Ryder (14-0, 8 KOs) on the Queensberry Promotion.

Both boxers could enter the bout minus their unbeaten records, however, as they each take on a tune-up opponent in July.

Saunders will meet Ireland’s Gary O’Sullivan on July 20 at Wembley for O’Sullivan’s WBO International title, whilst Ryder has been announced for Matchroom’s July 13 card against an opponent to be confirmed.
