Unbeaten Super-featherweight prospect Alex Rutter doesn’t quite live up to his ‘Big Al’ nickname in size but irony aside the Mancunian who trains under Bobby Rimmer, certainly fits the name in terms of talent and promise both which could be described as big.

Rutter, 20, has his 5th pro fight on April 5th at the Forum in Wythenshawe, Manchester on a Steve Wood VIP show

We went over to Rimmer’s gym this week to watch Big Al spar and to keep up with his progress and spoke to him afterwards about turning pro, working with Bobby and his thoughts on his career so far.
