Champs Camp coaches Ensley ‘Bingo’ Bingham and Maurice ‘Hard’ Core are training the next batch of lads who they feel can follow in their footsteps and get the Moss Side Gym in Manchester back on the domestic title map, the one the both former British champions were on in the 80’s and 90’s.

Cruiserweight prospect Sam ‘Nowhere 2’ Hyde is one of them lads and together with Ensley, they speak to www.britishboxers.co.uk about Sam’s 2 fights to date, including his debut at the Manchester Arena against Elvis Dube and details of his next fight, back at his home city venue.

Hyde, 20, will take on Cardiff’s Wayne Brooks over 4 rounds on the undercard of Scott Quigg’s world title defence against Stephane Jomoye at the Phones 4U Arena (formally M.E.N) on the 13th September. more on this event here.
