‘The Bury Boy’ Fahim Mohammed was fighting in his home town for the first time on Saturday when he took on tough Glasweigian southpaw ‘Iron’ Ryan McNicol over 4 rounds at the Castle Leisure Centre in Bury.

Fahim, 19, 3rd pro fight and he boxed ahead of his years behind a nice cultured jab that McNicol found hard to get past. McNicol came to fight and to his credit pushed the young homeboy, but Fahim was always in control and took referee Michael Alexander’s verdict on the scorecard 40-37
