Nathan Wheatley (6-0) outpointed Dan Blackwell (7-57, 1 early) over four hard-fought rounds. Wheatley has been travelling around the gyms of the North West with his trainer Kieran Farrell and is clearly benefitting from the workload yet met stiff resistance from the tough Blackwell.

The wiry Warrington middleweight was too active and sharp, but Trowbridge’s Blackwell maintained his record of only being stopped once in his professional career. This was his 64th fight. The score was 39-38.
