Sky Sports have confirmed that Belfast’s WBA feathewrweight titlist Carl Frampton’s (23-0, 14 KOs) January 29 rematch with Leo Santa Cruz (32-1-1, 18 KOs) will be shown live on Sky. They meet at the MGM in Las Vegas in a rematch of a thrilling first encounter that Frampton won via a majority decision.

Sky announced the news on their website earlier today. “We’re continuing a wonderful start to the year with Carl Frampton’s hotly-anticipated rematch against Leo Santa Cruz,” said Adam Smith, Sky’s Head of Boxing.

“They produced a classic fight in the summer and we are expecting even more fireworks in Las Vegas next month. It continues an exciting start to our schedule, with James DeGale kicking off 2017 with a super-middleweight world title unification clash against Badou Jack in New York on January 14, also live on Sky Sports.”
