Fight fans we are back again with a great episode of BOXMANIA. In this show we kick off by rounding up some of the latest boxing news and we have some great exclusive interviews with various people in the boxing game.

We then speak with Matthew Ryan who goes toe-to-toe with fellow Mancunian Macaulay McGowan in a massive domestic scrap for an English title on the 24th March at Bowlers Exhibition Centre. On next weeks show we hear what Macaulay has to say.

We also take a trip down to Jennings Gym in Chorley where we speak with head trainers Mike and Dave Jennings. We discuss huge fights coming up involving their lads Jack Arnfield and Matty Askin. We also review the progress of some of their other up and coming fighters and look forward to big year for the gym. Michael Jennings has been to the top of the mountain in his career and has high hopes that his boys will follow suit.

Next up we visit promoter James Lindemann to discuss an excellent show he is putting on in conjunction with PBE on St Patricks Day. This card is absolutely stacked with great talent including, Joe Murray, Sam Hyde, Anthony Leak, Matthew Mainwaring, Artif Ali, Stephen Danyo, Mindaugas Baublys and Michael Gomez Jr.

Speaking of Micael Gomez Jr, we catch up with him to get his predictions for some big fights, including Khan v Brook and Joshua v Klitschko. Gomez Jr of course hopes to emulate the great successes of his fighting father who gave us many spills and thrills in his career.

We visit coach James Largey from FLF Performance centre in Manchester who this week gives us an interesting segment of the “Sweet Science” on the necessity and correct methods with which to train the neck. This is a vital aspect of any boxers training and James explains why.

To end this action packed show, we speak to Carl Thompson about two poignant moments in his career, the bouts with Chris Eubank and Jonny Nelson. The legendary fighter from the Champs Camp gives us a great insight into his thoughts. To be continued…

All in all a great show for the British fight fan, we hope you have enjoyed it and we thank you for your continued support.
