In his first ever interview Ryan Robinson (2-0, 2KOs) a professional prospect from London, but who now trains between Jamaica, Canada, America and Manchester and ‘The Conquering Lion’ is certainly one to keep an eye on!
Ryan is currently working with Pat Barrett in Manchester and is mentored by his uncle, the former undisputed heavyweight champion of the world Lennox Lewis! He recently made his pro debut at Niagara Falls in Canada and had his second pro outing in Muhammad Ali’s hometown of Louisville Kentucky, America.
We catch up with the super-middleweight prospect at his current base the Collyhurst and Moston Boxing Club to find out about his background, current situation and future plans in the sport, and what it’s like working with Lennox and former British and European champion Pat Barrett. Ryan’s next fight will be at the Middleton Arena in Manchester on September 22nd.
