Newport middleweight prospect Kyran Jones moved to 6-0-0 as a professional with a comfortable six-round points victory over Seamus Devlin. The twenty-four-year-old appeared atop of a Black Flash Promotions card in the Welsh capital on Saturday evening on an otherwise quiet weekend for British boxing.
Fellow Welshman Ben Crocker also won his sixth bout in as many fights with a wide six-round decision against Richard Helm at 147-pounds. The Swansea man has barely surrendered a round since turning over in September of last year and will no doubt look to run out at least twice more before the end of the year is out.
Lightweight Brandon Scott emerged victorious in his second pro outing as he forced Luke Fash to retire between the third and fourth rounds, while Callum Lee stopped Mohammed Al Warith in the third of four scheduled rounds at featherweight. Cruiserweight Josh Kaighin moved to 2-0-0 with a commanding four-round display versus Christian Adjoufack, while Rashid Omar whitewashed Karlo Wallace over four rounds at welterweight.
