The highly-anticipated rematch between super-lightweight champion Josh Taylor and Jack Catterall has reportedly been agreed for February 4th.

The report comes courtesy of ESPN’s Mike Coppinger and if true will see the pair face-off just under twelve months since Taylor’s controversial split-decision victory in Glasgow this year.

Many felt Catterall deserved to get his hand raised on the night against Taylor, who has vacated three of his four belts since to ensure a second fight takes place.

The Scotsman looked set to move up to welterweight following the contest but is determined to prove his superiority and right the perceived wrong on his resume.

Taylor confirmed his split from trainer Ben Davison last week and will now train with Rotunda ABC’s Joe McNally in Liverpool.
