Frank Warren has announced that middleweight Nathan Heaney (16-0-0, 6KOs) will rematch Jack Flatley (20-3-1, 4KOs) at the Telford International Centre on March 25th.
Stoke’s Heaney suffered a horrendous cut after a nasty head clash with Flatley which ultimately forced the fight to the scorecards after five rounds.
All three judges ringside ruled in favour of Heaney who secured his sixteenth victory in as many outings.
Bolton’s Flatley was handed his third pro defeat and called for an immediate rematch via social media following the clash in Manchester.
Despite Heaney’s initial hesitance, the pair have now signed to run it back in March in an intriguing twelve-round encounter.
Liverpool’s hard-hitting super-bantamweight Andrew Cain (10-0-0, 9KOs) will also take on Romanian Ionut Baluta (15-4-0, 3KOs) on the undercard.
Cain boasts a record of nine knockouts in ten professional contests.
Baluta meanwhile lost out to Liam Taylor for the European title at 122lbs in the same venue two months ago.
Norwich featherweight Raven Chapman (5-0-0, 2KOs) will also appear on the card in a ten-round clash against the Czech Republic’s Lucie Sedlackova (15-1-1, 6KOs).
Chapman last appeared in November where she won all six rounds on all three scorecards.
Sedlackova has primarily fought out of her native Czech Republic and Germany as a pro.
New Queensberry signing Moses Itauma will appear for the second time as a pro on the card.
The 18-year-old heavyweight is set to make his pro debut this weekend on the undercard of Artur Beterbiev‘s light-heavyweight clash against Anthony Yarde in London.
