David Haye will be asking Lennox Lewis for advice ahead of his heavyweight unification showdown with one of the above Klitschko brothers this summer.
Lewis stopped the bigger sibling Vitali Klitschko in the sixth round of their June 2003 fight after a bad cut opened up above the Ukrainians eye, after that fight Lewis retired as champion.
“If there’s anyone who knows how to beat a Klitschko, it’s Lennox,” said Haye.

“He beat a prime Vitali. Lennox was way over the hill but still ripped Vitali’s face to shreds and won the fight. Lennox also knows what Wladimir’s trainer Manny Steward knows, because he was trained by him.” added Haye.
Haye 30, is lined up to fight Wladimir Klitschko in either June or July (yet TBC) but news filtering out of camp Klitschko is that Wlad is struggling with his fitness after numerous injurys, which eventually put paid to a fight with British heavyweight champion Dereck Chisora.
Should Wladimir be unable to make the summer showdown with Haye, then it looks likely that big bro Vitali will step in and fight our WBA champion. The big man shouldn’t have any problems being fit for that date and already intends to fight then anyway.
Klitschko defended his WBC strap against Odlanier Solis on Saturday night in Germany, knocking out the former amateur star in the first round. As Solis went over he jarred his knee which put paid to any hope of him carrying on, even if he were able to shake the right hand Klitschko had landed.

Bernd Boente manager of the Ukrainian champions, revealed that Vitali would consider fighting again in June or July after his title defence against Solis lasted less than three minutes.
Terms had apparently been written into the fight contract anyway, that Haye would face either or of the Klitschko’s and if he beats one will be eligible to fight the other in quick succession, before the Londoners proposed retirement from boxing at the end of this year.
The fight is expected to take place at one of the large German football stadiums, but some other major European cities, who see the Hugh draw and prestige of this fight want a piece of the action, notably Monte Carlo who have thrown there hat in the ring to stage the fight.
