Big Derek ‘Delboy’ Chisora believes he will dethrone the outstanding, longstanding heavyweight champion Vitali Klitschko, insisting his fearlessness and “swagger” will be the key to pulling off an unlikely victory in Germany on Saturday night to win the WBC heavyweight championship of the world.
The 28 year old Londoner who is coming off a controversial loss to Robert Helenius for the European title last December, will be up against all the odds in Klitschkos adopted back yard of the Olympiahalle in Munich, Germany but as promised to knockout the Ukrainian in round 8.
Klitschko (43-2, 40 KOs), and Dereck Chisora (15-2, 9 KOs), participated today in a press conference and talked about their upcoming clash next Saturday. WBC World Heavyweight Champion Klitschko and his contender Chisora will face off at Olympiahalle Munich, Germany.
Vitali Klitschko: “I’m looking into Chisora’s eyes and I see a young fighter who wants to win the world title. When he said that he was going to finish me in round eight I realised that this guy is serious and I have never prepared as hard for a fight. But I’ve told him that he’s not the one to stop me, no one can.”

Dereck Chisora: “The way I’m going to fight he won’t be able to keep up with the pace I’m going to set. It will be at a hundred miles an hour and his old legs won’t be able to keep up. I’m not scared of him, he’s human, he bleeds and so do I. I’m looking forward to this now, it’s so close. It’s the end for Vitali.”

Delboy as the chance to shock the world and give British boxing a massive boast, stranger things have happened in boxing and there is always a chance. But Klitschko other than two stoppage defeats by injury, as looked almost unbeatable, and in any era of heavyweight boxing that is impressive. Chisora must give it everything he has and leave nothing in the locker room. He will never get another chance like this, with so much riding on it, a win would make him the most talked about man in boxing and would bring Delboy the crown Jewell’s of the heavyweight division. Can he do it? – Course he can! – will he do it? ………………..??
