George Groves weighed in for his WBC world title eliminator against European super-middleweight champion Christopher Rebrasse today looking in good shape and promising to bounce back from his loss to Carl Froch for the ‘Cobra’s’ WBA and IBF belts back in May.
Groves, 26, is back in the capital at Wembley this Saturday night but this time he wont be performing on the pitch, the fight will be staged in the accompanying Arena next door.
The European title and the vacant WBC Silver title will also be on the line when Groves, takes on the 28-year-old Frenchman.
Groves weight: 11st 13lbs 6oz
Rebrasse weight: 11st 13lb 8oz.
Rebrasse was a couple of ounces heavier but both well within the 12-stone super-middleweight limit.
