The 23 year old Justis Huni currently has a record of 7 wins 0 losses with 4 wins coming by way of knockout and is ranked in the top 15 with the WBO. As part of Eddie Hearn’s ambition to recruit the best Australasian talent he is now the latest prospect from Australia to sign with Hearn’s promotional company, joining the likes of world champion Ebanie Bridges, Skye Nicolson, Demsey McKean just to name a few.

The young Aussie turned professional in 2020 after a successful amateur career in which he captured super heavyweight gold at the 2016 Youth World Championships in Saint Petersburg, Russia and Bronze at the 2019 World Championships in Yekaterinburg also held in Russia.

Huni last boxed in November 2022 , winning a 10 round unanimous decision against 29 year old New Zealander Kiki Toa Leutele to retain the IBF pan pacific, WBO oriental and OPBF heavyweight titles and has a TKO win over former professional rugby league player Paul Gallen who himself holds a knockout victory over former WBA “regular’ heavyweight champion Lucas Browne and a 10 round unanimous decision over fellow amateur world championship bronze medalist Joseph Goodall.

Huni is expected to make his promotional debut in April and has stated on social media that this new promotional deal is just the beginning and he is looking forward to showing fight fans what he is capable of.
