Amir Khan promises to comeback stronger on December 15

ShowTime Sports will be presenting a holiday extravaganza on December 15th at the LA Sports Arena in Los Angeles; Stephen Espinoza the Executive Vice President and General Manager of ShowTime Sports said that the Amir Khan vs. Carlos Molina will be a “Special Celebration” when speaking at a press conference in London today.

He went on to say that. “This Amir Khan fight will be the first one shown on ShowTime and we couldn’t be more excited, the media have been very supportive, ShowTime have a big presence and happy to add Amir Khan to this list.”

“Prior to this career I have been working with Team Khan and Amir Khan has charisma and is articulate and is entertaining and it is a TV executives dream.”

Richard Schaefer of Golden Boy Boxing was very confident and pleased he was to see the process of Amir Khan taking the centre stage in world championship boxing again, he said “When Amir fights you know you’re going to be entertained, Molina is a skilled fighter also from Golden Boy he started when he was 3-0 and now he’s 17-0, and Molina is a former national amateur champion, his trainer is Clementa Medina.”

Team Khan’s business manager Asif Vali vibrant about Khan’s future said, “Amir is eager to regain his pace at the very top of the 140lb division, this path starts against Carlos Molina who is an undefeated fighter and someone who Amir knows he will need to be at the best to overcome.”

Khan said, “I am looking forward to getting back into the ring and continuing my career, I believe in myself and my abilities, with each fight I learn what I am capable to comeback stronger than before.”

“I want to learn and want to become a champion again” added Khan.

The Bolton boxer has a new trainer in Virgil Hunter who is one the most highly respected in the game; he will be training in Oakland, California and is due to fly out there from the UK in the next few days.
