Tony Bellew will take on Isaac Chilemba again on the undercard of Carl Froch’s rematch with Mikkel Kessler on May 25 at London’s 02 Arena.

Bellew could only manage a draw with Chilemba two weekends ago, in what turned out to be a decision that split opinion down the middle, with fans and experts seeing the result differently with an argument for both cases. A draw in the end seemed a fair decision in a forgettable fight, that Bellew will be determined to get right this time against the tricky Malawian opponent.

On the judges scorecards in their first meeting Chilemba was scored the winner 116-112 by the first judge, while the second had it 116-115 to Bellew, and the third scored it 114-114 a draw. The ‘Bomber’ will have to make sure there is no room for controversy this time if he is to fulfill his world title ambition.

The winner of this light-heavyweight unification saga is set to challenge WBC world title holder Chad Dawson and Bellew will be hoping to make amends for a disappointing display in front of his hometown fans in Liverpool in the first meeting.
