The Undefeated Nathan Cleverly, cleaned up all the domestic titles and won his eliminator to grasp this chance against the current WBO World Light Heavyweight title-holder Juergen Braehmer from Germany, who has knocked out 29 of his 38 previous opponents.
The undefeated Olympic Gold medallist and reigning British Super Middleweight champion James DeGale (10-0, 8KO) will be making the second defence of his British Super Middleweight title when he clashes with rival and former amateur stablemate George Groves.
Groves who is also unbeaten (12-0,10KO) trains alongside friend and promoter WBO Heavyweight World Champion David Haye and will prepare for his own fight while Haye gets ready for his own date with destiny against Wladimir Klitschko on either June 25 or July 2.
Looking forward to both fights, Sky Sports commentator and skysports.com columnist Jim Watt, said: “This is a night of boxing that whets the appetite.
“In Nathan Cleverly we have a young ambitious boxer looking to take the next step in his journey and become a World Champion.
“Braehmer is a tough customer, but if he can beat him, he will become a star attraction and the be an even bigger hero in his native South Wales like his idols Joe Calzaghe and Enzo Maccaranelli.
Watt added: “DeGale v Groves is the kind of grudge match that we haven’t seen since Benn v Eubank.
“There’s no love lost between these two, the bitter rivalry that exists between them has been built up since they first met as boys at the same boxing club in West London.
“For me DeGale starts as favourite but you cannot dismiss Groves – the atmosphere in the arena on the night will be like a football derby and form book goes out of the window as both men look to settle the score.”
