JUNIOR ABA FINALS BRIDLINGTON 2002
Brian Rose was a top class amateur, before going on to become a successfull professional winning the English title and he is now the current British light-middleweight champion. – In this fight Rose shows all his skills behind a great jab to outbox and outscore Callum Johnson over the distance to win the ABA title in Bridlington in 2002.
Callum Johnson went on from this to become a very successful amateur in his own right, winning the Gold medal when representing Scotland at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi. He has since turned professional and is now managed by former world champion Naseem Hamed. Johnson made his professional debut on 4 December 2010 beating Phillip Townley at the Braehead Arena in Glasgow and remains unbeaten in the paid ranks with a bright future mapped out in the light-heavyweight division.
