Callum ‘Loco’ Cooke had his first professional fight in September a points win over the experienced and durable Jason Nesbitt over four rounds to get his paid career underway in a dominant and purposeful performance.

Cooke, 21, is a gym mate of pros Terry Flanagan and Karl Place and is trained by Steve Maylett in Manchester at The Finest Gym. He is currently a light-welterweight and as ambition to become a British champion and go on to fight for a world title and a pound for pound title fight in the future is a dream he harbours.

In this interview with Cooke for the boxer gives us an in-depth look at what makes him tick and find out this new professional prospect’s ambition’s, his likes and dislikes and how he got into boxing, plus his views on his first pro fight last month.
