Exclusive British Boxers Interview with coach Peter Fury at the team Fury head quarters in Bolton. Peter updates us on the latest situation regards his son Hughie Fury’s WBO world heavyweight title challenge against New Zealand’s Joseph Parker.
Tyson Fury was in the gym back in training and did a 10-round spar with gym mate Tom Aspinall. Peter gives us the update on Tyson as he resumes camp and says that the former linear heavyweight champ Tyson could be back in the ring this year, possibly on the undercard of cousin Hughes fight with Parker.

HUGHIE FURY BACK JULY 8TH; “I’LL LET MY FISTS DO THE TALKING”
Hughie Fury (20-0, 10KO) was scheduled to fight WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker (23-0, 18KO) in New Zealand in April but was forced to withdraw due to a back injury. Whilst a potential rescheduled bout is awaiting conformation, Hughie Fury will appear on Frank Warren’s July 8th bill “The Future Is Now” at the Copper Box.
This 6 round stay busy fight will be Hughie’s first bout for over a year and will give us all the indications we need as to his readiness to take on Parker. We caught up with Hughie at the Fury team headquarters in Bolton to discuss the fight and his ambitions going forward.
