Unquestionably one of the most pivotal preparations for a fighter comes with protecting the tools of the trade.

Fresh off his brilliant victory over Leigh Wood, former British and current WBO European champion, Jazza Dickens revealed one of the questions he is asked most frequently is ‘what is the best way to wrap your hands properly?’

Whilst he emphasised it’s a personal process and each fighter will have their own techniques that work for them, he did share his own insight and experience, whilst also underlining the importance of the process.

Dickens’ victory over Wood at the start of the year continued a stellar run of form for the much-loved Liverpool southpaw, as his seventh consecutive win set him up for an intriguing clash with Ryan Walsh in the final of the MTK Golden Contract tournament.
