The BBBofC Central Area title will find a new home this weekend as Lee Appleyard (18-7-1, 5KOs) and Dan Booth (6-1-0, 3KOs) face-off at the Doncaster Dome on Saturday evening.

The strap has been without a holder since the former faced-off against then champion Bilal Rehman in November 2018, with Rehman emerging victorious over ten rounds that night, and both Appleyard and Booth will be looking to climb another rung on the domestic ladder this weekend at 140-pounds.

The undercard in Doncaster features a host of prospects, including James Flint (10-1-1, 2KOs) who takes on Fonz Alexander (7-133-1, 4KOs) in a six-round welterweight contest, and the undefeated Lewis Sylvester (9-0-0, 3KOs) who takes on Joe Ducker (10-9-2, 2KOs) at super-lightweight. Super-middleweights Josh Clarke (3-0-0, 2KOs) and Zane Clark (1-1-0) also clash, while Conner Kelsall (5-0-0, 1KOs) takes on Mikey Young (2-2-1) down at super-flyweight. Lightweight prospect Jack Roberts (4-1-0) also takes on journeyman Paul Scaife (1-18-0).
