Callum Simpson signs with BOXXER and Sky Sports

Oldham super-middleweight prospect Callum Simpson has signed a long-term promotional deal with BOXXER and Sky Sports.

The promotional outfit announced their latest acquisition via Twitter on Thursday afternoon.

Simpson claimed his first major title in October with a second-round stoppage of Ben Ridings for the Central Area belt at 168lbs.

The victory marked Simpson’s eighth stoppage victory in a row as he moved to 10-0 as a professional.

The 26-year-old looks to chase down the big domestic names at super-middleweight in 2023 and will make his BOXXER debutat Manchester’s AO Arena on March 25th.

WBO cruiserweight champion Lawrence Okolie headlines the card as he defends against mandatory challenger David Light.
