British-based heavyweight Martin Bakole has penned a long-term promotional contract with BOXXER and Sky Sports.
BOXXER confirmed the new signing via social media on Wednesday.
Bakole secured a career-best victory with a majority decision win versus France’s Tony Yoka in May.
Trained by Scottish trainer Billy Nelson, Bakole looks to move towards a shot at world honours following his victory over the Rio 2016 super-heavyweight gold medalist last year.
The 29-year-old joins a BOXXER stable alongside fellow world contenders Joseph Parker, Hughie Fury and Michael Hunter.
The latter handed Bakole his only loss in 19 professional contests with a tenth-round stoppage victory over the Congolese heavyweight in October 2018.
